I'm looking to purchase a weekend pad which I may rent out in the future somewhere in Shek O but I can't seem to find any listings. The only thing I have been able to find are luxury properties. I have been there several times and recall seeing many village style flats. Are any of those for sale? Or is there some sort of by-law in that area?

Same with Stanley. Nothing listed except uber expensive or HOS properties.

Go to an agency in that area and speak with them. They should have options for you.

The stuff you find online (at least in English) is geared towards expats with lots of money who want fancy places etc.

I don't recall seeing any agencies directly in Shek O the last time I was there but I think Saukiwan or Stanley agencies can help.

You know how these agencies are, I don't want to go in without doing my own research first. I'm still getting calls from agents and banks offering mortgages from 2 months ago.
