| sponsors.... hi ppl, just wanted to ask if my aunt whose living in hk can sponsor me to get a visa? so that i can stay there longer. thanks |

| If you want a visa you have a number of options: 1. You can apply for a longer tourist visa if that is your current status. (or do a visa run across the border and back) You can only do this so long though, depends length we are talking. 2. You can find a company that can sponsor you for a visa. The company will have to prove you have skills locals do not though. 3. You can get a study visa and go to University in HK. 4. You can marry a PR of HK and this will get you a dependant visa. There is also investment visas etc. But, these four are the most likely for your case I suspect. Your aunt is not going to be able to help you. |

| thanks... last question, can i enroll in cantonese class in hk having a tourist visa? because i'm not planning to have a long term lessons, and the school can't provide me students visa. |

| to the best of my knowledge you can go to like a small school and take a short Cantonese course. But, you can't take like a University course or something. I mean tourists can go have tea drinking classes and stuff, not sure why you can't learn some Cantonese providing it doesn't cause you to overstay your visa. |
