| | | Cal Fitness PT fee? Hi,
Just moved here for work for 3½ months. I was going to email and ask but reading the horror stories about them keep calling you all the time made me not to post it.
How much is a PT if you do not buy a package deal? I can have very odd hours and don't waqnt to end up with hours left when I go home.
Also, current status there? Annoying PT's etc. The place looked nice when checked out their Central facility.

| | | PT's will normally offer 3 months for $9000 or so. (12 sessions)
They say 6 is about half that
3 lessons you can normally try for $1300 or so.
Lesson by Lesson may be up to $800 each time.
Of course you want to make sure to ask them to make it cheaper! They will. But, I do agree Cal. Fitness push attitude is annoying!

| | | HI, I am also new in HK- only 2 weeks but I heard all the horror stories about HK trainers too especially California and FFirst.
I have had trainers at home for a few years and think I have found a really good one here. Not sure if I'm allowed to say his name but I found him through Geoexpat classified section. He uses a studio across from California and does packages or single sessions. Dont think I am allowed to say how much- sorry getting used to new rules have only just joined! Anyway its less than the last post was talking about! Private message me if you want. choco.

It's just when people want to come on and plug their own companies etc that it is frowned upon.
BTW there are a number of Cal. Fitness in HK. So across from Cal. Fitness only tells us you are either referring to Central, Wan Chai, Causeway Bay, Whampoa, Tsim Sha Tsui, Mong Kok (X2) or Tuen Mun.

BTW if it makes any difference the Central and Causeway Bay offices do not have Sauna, Steam Room. The other ones do. Just food for thought towards all members.

| | Yeah, it is probably gweilo country. Wanted to stay close to the office and all the rest. I expect to work more than at home in Stockholm so it's a conscious decision. I do love sauna though so that's a pity. I come from the north of Sweden where there are saunas are in almost every house. Quote:

| | Great invention. Relaxing and you never feel so clean(sed) as after a sauna and a shower. The in-home saunas usually house 4-6 people. I've had many beers and discussions in saunas Quote:
