Thanks but the membership comes with the serviced apartment so I'll use CF if they're not super annoying Hope to do some running and weight lifting by myself. Might go for some spinning as well.

CF is quite annoying tho. They always have some promotion and bug you all the time. Once I worked out there; one of the staff swiped my card and told me how expensive my membership was and suggested me to change. PT in CF is not good. They just know how to chill not train. I would never pay for the PT.

Review

5 workouts so far and it is not really that bad at CF. They tried to upsell me once but looked dissapointed since I have a platinum card.

No problems since. I just walk in and do my workout and think they have more thna enough equipment. The lack of a sauna sucks though. Always working out with the mp3, as usual, so that might be a deterring thing regarding trying to (up)sell

I would not tell people to not go there because of the staff. Hopefully one or two no's is enough.

Also, I would probably not use *any* PT from there. Some look they have not been working out too much themselves. To feel confident in what a PT says I think they should have the body to back it up.

If you got a platinum card why not go to the club in Wan Chai or a Kowloon club every now and then for a nice sauna after the workout. I have found CF to be quite good myself as well. One of the main selling points was having a nice steam room/sauna visit followed by a hot shower after a good workout. Motivation for sure.

Good idea! I am trying to expand my 3-stop route a little: home-work-gym

Question

Off topic: I thought I'd correct some of my bad english and a typo but can't seem to find an edit button. Where is it?

Edit: Ahhh, it's only there as long as there are no quotes made?

You can only edit your posts for the first 20 minutes after posting. That is why the edit option vanishes lol.

If you are ever going to the CF in Mong Kok let me know. I find it tough to work out with others sometimes as everyone has a different routine, but I wouldn't mind using the sauna as a chat/debate room. lol

I meant "just any" because some are buff as they should be, haha. I would not trust a thin/skinny guy (just a normal 178cm/80kg myself).

Hey HKChigger and nikasp,

I also work out at CF, especially Central one. It would be great to find some work-out buddies who works out in the same fitness club. At least peers need help tho.. Let me know if you guys work out at CF.
As what I saw so far, those personal trainners in CF are not too professional. They sometimes do things that not suppose to do.
