Hi,

If anyone happens to read this in the next, oh, 2 hours or so and has a suggestion on the island side or even kowloon where we can go for hot pot which is yummy, please let me know. My friends are visiting from Canada, don't speak Chinese and they would like to have a pleasant dining experience for a group of 2-3 people. I have no idea how to help them on this one...

There is a place in Kennedy Town that is pretty good. It's next to the Tram tracks. If you know where the Jockey Club is in Kennedy Town (across from this park) it's just down from there. Lots of red neon on the side of the building, pretty nice inside.

Holland Street? Not sure. Next to the tram tracks on Kennedy Town Praya, across from the Belcher Bay park. Haven't been in a year, but it was pretty good (one of the better places in KT).

The only other hot pot I had was between Wan Chai and Causeway Bay, across from the fire station and on the second floor of this building. Unfortunately, I don't know it that well so can't give much better directions.
