| wedding banquet - where to have it - help ! Hi can you guys help me out here I'm getting married in HK in september. Staying at the Peninsula (which has some good restuarants) but I'd like to book a really good oriental/european style restuarant for a wedding reception banquet - it's only a small group 25 or so. We'd like a nice setting - great views of hong kong and good food! We looked at the poison ivy - which doesn't seem to have very good reviews also at the Verandah - which is already booked ! We've booked the Duk Ling Junk boat to have the marriage vows on - so could then take the boat to somewhere nice ?? any help would be greatly appreciated as time is running out ! thanks ! |

| Try the Totts in Excelsior .... good views, reasonable prices for 5 star quality and they have a band. Most of the top hotels would be pretty accomodating for a group of 25 or so. The Conrad, Shangrila, Mandarin would all have pretty decent options. |
