I will for sure exclude any hello kitty & others from a date. I'm an not a local but if a guy took me on a date in a hello kitty bar I am not sure I'd be dating this guy again.

You can take her to the tea house in HK Park. It's not very expensive so she won't feel intimidated by the price list and it's very calm and quiet. You can spend few hours having tea and talking without having too yell because the music is too lound and you cannot hear each other.

The weather will be very nice this week-end and if she's an outdoor girl you can take her for a walk/hike. There are lots of choices in HK.

My partner would probably agree but at least he never gets bored.... life is an adventure! Say no to mediocrity and take the road less travelled!

Tai Tai (Taai Taai) is wife in Chinese, unless there is another meaning also.


As for OP I think seeing a local movie and casual local style dinner could be fun and locals would like that. Really depends how local we are talking though. Some locals girls are full out local, and some are more western even if they have never left HK. These styles will be looking for different types of date.


PS: ontheroad I find it funny the way you made the comment about guys posting only and then the movie considering the poster made it clear the movie idea was from a poll from women at the office lol.
