The good side of the internet outage...

Heard some reports from spies, that, Microsoft employees could not activate their Windows Vista installations and have had to sit around idle all day for the last couple of days.

That's lost productivity and guess who's going to pay for that - yes it's going to be us.

The unfortunate truth is that in some way we are all using an MS product most likley in the form of Windows or Office.

I don't agree with that. At the moment my computer has windows, but it doesn't work.. I mean I admit to having a hotmail account but at the moment that is all.

I know for a fact VMlinuz does not even have windows, hotmail or anything by MSN. I know Prash is strictly mac, but not sure if he has hotmail or not.

Lots of people out there with no connection to MSN.

Then you live a very sad and closeted life... The vast majority of the world's population have never even heard of MSN, never mind not having an account. Even as a (relative) geek I don't have an MSN account.

So what's the point here? Are we not using MS products for the principle of it or you find something inherently bad about their products?
I do anything that makes the cogs of life go smoothly. If it is Windows or MSN Messenger, then so be it. I am not a sadist. Come to think of it, I have not had an XP crash in... ooh.. over a year. Maybe it is just me.

I'm not aware that I did. I merely stated a fact and my personal situation. I'm sorry if either of those upsets you.
