Hi Guys

I have worked for 6 years at one of the worlds largest mobile phone operators in the UK. I have specialised in account management in the corporate sector and have implemented many of the companies biggest and most complex accounts. In November I was the only person to represent the corporate/business sector for my work at a recent awards evening. I am looking for opportunities in the telecoms sector in Hong Kong and wondered what the best route to try and find an opportunity?

Are there any specialist telecoms recruitment agencies?

Realistically would there be any opportunities suitable for my skills or would they only be for for people in top senior positions?

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I am also looking for a job with any Telco in Hong Kong. I have contacted the Telstra Hong Kong office to ask about tech jobs. Telstra has a CDMA network and is well placed to build in China when China decides what 3G they will use.

Few expat / non-chinese speaking jobs with the local telcos / mobile in the retail trade / account management positions.

Fair number of expats in the corporate management, consultancy side from what I can see amongst GeoExpat members.

That's exactly what I'm looking for, I have gone into sveral big corporate accounts on a consultancy basis and have plenty of corporate management experience. Where would you say is the best place to start?

Hello there,
I'm more from the Technical and Engineering side of recruitment so telecomms is not my strength really, but what with all the technological advances and major companies located in the pacific region, it seems like a fair bet that there should be allot of opportunities.

I have a few colleagues that work in the International Telecomms recruitment sector, I know the've done quite allof of work in China, let me know if you're interested in their details, I might take a sniff around the market place myself and see what's about......
