I have started running in the last few months but only on the treadmill. I want to start some outdoor runs but as I can only do them in the early evening, i'm always more inclined to go straight to the gym. I want to increase my speed and distance and am looking for a personal trainer who can help, either that or a running buddy to go for some outdoor runs each week (I live in Sheung Wan). Any help would be appreciated!!

Was about to ask the same question as it is time for me to get my fat, lazy butt back into the gym and start working towards this ever moving goal of fitness.

Yes I am all sorted (and motivated!) thanks to richclow with an excellent program that is going to have me super duper fit by the end !! (So thankyou KIA for your recommendation!)

Hi Oz girl, I saw this thread and also got in touch with Richard- who I have started training with and think is great- but when I mentioned this post to him today he said I probably need to train for a couple of weeks before I can run with you- I think he was worried I'd hold you back. I'll get in touch when I'm fit enough!

I haven't run in ages, but if you ever want company, please feel free to drop me a line I signed up for the beat the banana race this weekend, but am going out the night befor which should be really interesting...
