How to contact the owners of a flat? My landlady wants to increase the rent of my flat, so I probably have to find another place soon... I know that there are still many apartments available in my estate, many of them for a lower monthly rent. Every day, there are quite a few estate agents running around with potential tenants... However, I m wondering if there is any chance to contact the flat owners directly since I dont want to do the rental thing via an agent?! Who is normally checking the letterboxes? Is it the flat owner or the agent? If I put a letter in some letterboxes I doubt that they will make it to the owner, since I dont have any names to address the letters properly... Help!!

I would try the letterboxes and also ask the Management if they could perhaps help and give you the tel # of the owner of the flat.

Sometimes even the caretakers have the tel # of the owner.

Also, put a note up in your local park n shop / welcome and ask landlords to contact you directly.
