Can't, all booked up. Anybody up to cancelling their reservations between Dec 24 and 31, I'll be keen to hear from you! A long shot, but never hurt to ask!

I was invited but would prefer later in the month and likewise told them so, and they are accommadating my party.

Bear in mind my original text, the "soft opening", which is this December is very much so, the "Grand Opening" next year in February is the one I myself will be attending.

It is not so much the fame of the brand but the enjoyment I actually get from the food - which is why I booked this as opposed to anything else for one of my many dinners; I've done the London and New York ones and the Shrimp in somethingrather Sauce is phenomenal - I'd even stretch to say amazing... I look forward to seeing the Hong Kong interpretation of it.

TST was a mess so we arrived half an hour late. 3 minutes after we sat down, the fireworks started right in front of our eyes so apparently we appreciated the view very much, especially when you saw billions of people were standing and pushing each other 20 feet away outdoor. Alright, here's the special Christmas menu:

Selection of Oysters
Hirame Tiradito
Sashimi Salad
Black Cod
Wagyu beef 2 ways
Selection of Sushi served with Soup
Nobu Beer Ice Cream with White Peach Jasmine Soup

The food was generally good. The Wagyu beef dumplings were our favorite. (2 ways meaning 3 cubes of beef on a stick and 2 dumplings) Everything else was generally good although within expectations. I have to go back again and order from the regular menu to compare this Nobu and what I had in New York and London. In terms of price, I think our Nobu is cheaper than London's and similar to New York's.

Merry Christmas!

I booked my table two weeks ago, and will go tomorrow (27th). So, I think it may be worth dialing them frequent to check for cancellations.

I hope that the food will be as good as "newbigland" describes; I was very disappointed when I tried Nobu's Milan (inside Armani).

WHY DID YOU KNOW TRY THE "ROCK SHRIMP TEMPURA (in a Creamy Spicy Sauce)"! It's the reason why I've been a patron to the restaurant(s)!
