Hi All,

I planned to move to HK in March, and now sourcing for flats to rent at a affordable rates, say HK$3800 - HK$4500. Im looking for areas in Tuen Mun or Castle Peak. One of the choice would like to find out rental flats in Nim Wan (稔灣), New Territory. I heard it is those 3-storey flats, on top of a hill, and its near HK Gold Coast and Aegean Coast.
Secondly, as getting used to living in spacious area in SG flats, Nim Wan has been an option due to its area, 7000ft for HK$4000/mth.

Has anyone know about this rented flats?

7000 sqare feet for HK$4000??? Really? Or is that in SIN$? That's way too cheap to be believable....I'm paying HKD8400 for 700 square feet.

OH, just spotted that mistake, but was unable to edit it ..
Its 700 Sq ft for HK$4K/mth ... Cant get use to feets and meters .

It could be a good deal then. However, it's always better to have a look at the place yourself. I've been flat hunting with a couple of friends and some flats can be really rundown. Bottomline, you pay for what you get. Have a look at http://www.gohome.com.hk or http://www.centaline.com.hk to have some idea of what you should be expecting. On the other hand, rents may not be neccessarily be higher than what you'll be used to in Spore. HDB flats are generally big and cheap to rent so to speak. However, in HK, public flats can't be rented out. And like I said, I'm paying HKD$8400 but I do get pretty good facilities so I'm not really complaining.

However, that is for sales, and I supposed not much difference its it is for rent

I plan to spend some time in HK during Feb for this hunt .. Hope to get some good results..

Ya, have a look in Feb. Just go to the area and pop into a real estate agency, they'll definitely be able to help you.
