I was wondering how well does leather keep in HK? Are leather jackets worn when the weather is cooler? What's a good way to store them? I have some purses & a jacket I'm considering bringing but I'm afraid of the possibility of molding...

You do see leather in the streets once winter comes around, but the jackets are lighter than what you may be used to back home. You can store them in your regular closet as long as you make sure they are clean and dont' attract mold. Also you can install some electric-wardrobe-warmer-rods (there must be a better name), humidity-absorbing-boxes ($10 for 4), or dehumidifier to help keep you mold-free.

Of course you do see leather purses in HK all the time!
