Can anyone recommend a place where I can get a heavy duty canvas bag repaired? I need some straps to be attcahed but all the tailors I know say they don't have the machinery required to mend bags.

I'd try some of the shoe repairers as they should be able to do it as no doubt they will be stitching leather at some stage thus the machine should be able to do it.
