Can anyone recommend any good family lunch buffet during Christmas, average around HKD200 ~ HKD300 per person. Preferable anything except chinese restaurants.

I've generally found that the Indian restaurants stick to their normal pricing over the holidays... pretty much everything else is marked up and hyped up.

..eventhough I like indian..but the rest of my family is not indian food fan...

Novotel hotel in Tung Chung is offering a few choices in your price range. Buffet at 'Essence is about $208 per adult, $148 per child. Mediteranean restaurant 'Olea'? has set course. Santa Claus is also visiting for the children. Need to book and pay in advance.

What location? Most of the 4 star hotel buffets would come in, at that range I'd think.

The Langham hotel is doing a Christmas Day lunch from 6pm for just $258 at Main St Deli prmising the usual American fare - seems like a good deal.

Langham place is $358... not $258..kinda steep

No I'm talking about the Langham, not the sister hotel in Mongkok, which is The Langham Place - nice hotel but nothing to shout about on the food front. Langham has a bunch of restaurants, but the Main Street Deli's Christmas Lunch is defo at $258. Very good value for what is a cracking restaurant but usually overpriced

On a side note - you'll find things generally a little cheaper on Christmas Day as opposed to the 24th.
