| | Serviced apt Jan-April, Central, budget $30k Hi there!
I am flying over to HK on Sunday and will spend a week looking for an apartment for next year. I will stay from early Janury to the end of April.
My office is at 20/F Queens Road, Central.
I would like a one bedroom apartment and my budget is $30k/month. Good in-house gym or such facilities nearby is welcome. Possibilities to go jogging, not only in the gym would also be valued.
I would also like walking distance to the office. Is that a bad idea? When I stayed in NY the Financial District was really boring on the weekends... Not much people actually lived there.
Thanks in advance for any and all input!

| | | It's not exactly Central, but try Eaton House at Happy Valley. Just google for their website. | |

| | Now I am here and luckily enough the girl I was going to meet at my job wanted to leave early My job is at Queens Road/Ice House St., close to New World Tower in Central.
I am being lazy and hope to find something close (in case of rain etc.). Might end up just going between the job and the "home" though... I'll take a stroll and check it out tonight. Dead tired since I cannot sleep on planes. 25 hours and counting | |

| | Admiralty is not where I want to live. Too much traffic on my little stroll. And also having to loook in the wrong direction when crossing the street I would like ot be able to go jogging without having to stop at every street corner. Central, Mid-Levels och SoHo is what I am thinking about after having surfed after prices etc. | |

| | | Sounds very interesting. I am planning to go aprtmenthunting on Thursday, Friday if needed. The person helping me with this at my job is home sick today though so I need to see if there are any special agreements/arrangements I need to follow. If that is OK with the company I will contact you tomorrow.
Which addresses are these apts at? High or low in the buildings? If you have any pictures or links please send to my work address (will post via private message).
I will come back to HK on January 8 and stay until April 23, with the option to stay a little longer.
Thanks, Niklas | |

| | Thanks, I think my company had already checked and they were booked. Will doublecheck when my colleague at the HK office is back. Quote:

| | It ended up with Shama at Peel St. 750 sqf for 35,700 HKD/month. Not cheap but very nice I think. The wet market is OK now but probably a big annoyance when it starts to get warm. I am off in the end of April so I hope it does not stink too much before then | | Tools | Search | | | | | Rate This Thread | | | All times are GMT +8. The time now is 10:44 AM. | |
