I'm interested. Is anybody going climbing now during Christmas? Do you have to pass some sort of a test to be allowed to climb on your own? Also, can you rent a harness at the wall? I've got only my climbing shoes with me.

Hi, veetmarg, if you wanna climb in YMCA TST, you have to pass their assessment. They have harnesses to rent out if you are a member or hold a monthly pass.

Hey veetmarg, maybe you can stop by this saturday to check it out, better yet, join me for the intro class, that way they will not cancel the class on me again, the class costs HK$170, from
2:30pm to 5:30pm this saturday, so what do you think?

Hey jman. I used to climb a lot, so I know how to belay and all this stuff. Therefore, I think the intro class would be a waste of money for me. Sorry Perhaps we can just get together sometime and climb without having to take a class, hmm?

How high is the wall, by the way? I read on the internet that it's like two squash courts made together which would imply it's not really that big. Has anybody climbed on the outside YMCA wall in Kings Park? That one looks quite cool.

sorry, I don't know what it involve, because I am not yet at that level. I'm still a beginner in top roping.
