Any idea where to get decorative Christmas lights? Looking for something like little light bulbs on "strings". Some people use those for their Cristmas trees or to decorate their windows. Yesterday I saw some at Japan Home Center but they only have colorful ones. And at Ikea I only found some in the shape of stars. I want mine plain and simple...

MJK : a fair number of the stationary stores have these lights ... have you tried Wellington Road and some of the other places like Jusco etc?

Not really sure about plain ones... ours are coloured.

Thanks for the hint. Went to our local stationary shop which was already closed.. but right next door they sold them in one of the local versions of Japan Home Center. Case settled!

Uny and Jusco don't have impressive stock this year, Ikea are more fancy or require a battery, some are also available in Logon (big selection of bright LED versions in Kowloon Tong) and Taste, we picked up lights this year at the Telford bookstore in Kowloon Bay.
