| | | 1 week to find a 3 bed furnished Hi everybody,
Arriving in HK in a week with my two small children, I need some help with the location. I am looking for a furnished place or serviced appartment for 1 or 2 month with 3 bedroom. We need to be close (time wise) to The Shun Tak Centre however I have heard that from Kowloon I can take the ferry to cross the bay. I have received quotes from HK Parkview and Pacific Place Parkview but I don't know if I they are worth it. I don't know which neighbourhoods are best but I hear Central and Admiralty would be best.
I hope you will be able to help me with this non original request.
Thank you | |

The serviced apts are occupied with other families, and I'm sure they'll make loads of friends, and get invited to lots of playdates. Parkview has a shuttle bus to Star Ferry and you can walk to Shun Tak or cab it from there.

Going the other way you are also not far from Pok Fulam - no mtr but lots of buses. You should look at Bel Air at Cyperport/Pok Fulam.
For serviced apartments check out moveandstay.com. Standard advice is to get a serviced apartment while you look for an apartment. The Island Hotel has serviced accomodation and along with the Bauhinia are really close to Shun Tak. Further up the hill anywhere in Soho/mid-levels would be ok but walking to work in summer isn't very practical. Right now it is fine.

Thank you for your reply, I am just confused because I thought Parkview was 15 mn ride from central? Could you please confirm?

| | | larac,
Thanks for your reply, I will check the places you mentionned. We are, indeed, looking for a place on a long term but it made more sense to be in a serviced apartment at first, especially with 2 kids. We have to take the helicopter or the ferry on almost a daily basis and for us it is important to be really close to Shun Tak Centre.

| | | Ok, you are commuting to Macau. Then Pacific Place Apts might be better. It will also be about 10-15mins cab ride to the Ferry terminal. Also, have a look at the Gateway in TST. You can catch the Macau jetfoil at China Ferry Terminal, which is 5 mins away. | |

| | | Can you please elaborate? Is Gateway a serviced appartment and what is TST? Sorry but my knowledge of HK consists only in Causeway Bay. | |

| | | You could also try the Manhattan Heights serviced apartments in Kennedy Town. There's no MTR, but there are buses and taxis to Sheung Wan. There is also a shuttle bus, but it will only stop at Shun Tak Center off peak but it will not pick you up from there. | | Tools | Search | | | | | Rate This Thread | | | All times are GMT +8.
