I have a job in audit can husband get one?

Hi there

I have recently got a job offer to work in Hong Kong. I was told that my husband can come and work as a dependant
Now, he really wants to work in his sector. He is an SQL Database Developer. What are his chances? If he cannot get a job, then there is no point us coming..

Thanks

What is his sector? Finance / Banking should be easy if he has the appropriate experience...

Thanks for your reply

He works in IT as an SQL/VB database developer, he has worked in investments banks in London..

We are just worried that we are going to turn up and he can't get anything..

As a dependant, can he, in theory, apply for any jobs (bar the ones that want mandarin/cantonese..)?

Thanks

as a dependent, he can do pretty much anything he likes, including work.
