NickN is on a distinguished road
My thoughts...

Have just watched part 1. Not sure if the idea is that this was filmed with all actors intended in say a 'final' cut? Or is this 'demo' just to show the storyline? Not sure if that makes sense... but I like the character of 'david' think this guy has potential and 'everyday man' likeability. Saw a few moments acting wise where he looked the 'wrong' direction or went soft with his lines but overall I'd keep him in. A few of the other actors need to go... Think the piece has some strong moments. Like the character 'Jennifer' not necessarily him as an actor, but the idea there. Liked the moment with 'sound guy' problems such as microphone hitting the other guy, little things like that very funny--liked the exchange with the 'personal assistant' something about sweet potato? Funny.

Think it has a '30 Rock' feel/potential to it. Which '30 Rock' also has down moments/weak writing in it's episodes but is funny enough overall that I keep watching.

I think to compete with all that is out there this would need some improvement, but is more on the right track than not... Hope to see momentum build and perhaps collaboration to strengthen some of the lines, especially in that first minute to keep the audience focused and happy ...

I Like the editing, the 'freeze in/out' thing, isn't that kind of 'My Name is Earl" which is also a great show. Think overall it has a contemporary feel to it, which is important...

Nick,

I'll pass your comments to Yuri. This is basically a demo they're putting together to get enough buzz going and attract a network or some sort of attention for additional financing.
