I am a total noob when it comes to games- I am still tring to get the hang of Pong- but I need to get a certaing game for an event and it only runs on PS2.
We can only source the game (actually it's one of those dancing mats run through a PS2 so not technically a game) in the US but want to rent a PS2 from Movieland for the night or buy a knackered 2nd hand one in HK.
Finally the question: what do we have to do to play a US game on an HK PS2?

Time was that you would take it to the games centres and get it modded. 188 Wanchai Road, Wanchai or the place on the corner of Dundas and Tung Choi Streets, Mong Kok spring to mind but I may be a little out of date.

I dont know about a second hand, but the brand new PS2's come already modded if you buy it from the 188 mall. For about $1050-1150 depending on the bundle you get. They'll play any kind of game.
