If you mean you are looking to buy pc games that have the ability to play online then you will find one in the Wanchai Computer Centre, Hong Kong Records and Star House TST aswell as numerous other places :-)

I suspect Play-Asia are in the same position as Lik-Sang (RIP) - their prices are lower than street prices in the US and Europe, and they have access to games and kit from all over the world, but they are far more expensive than buying over-the-counter in Hong Kong - and that's before shipping costs, which aren't actually listed on their site until you sign up.

To the OP: What sort of games are you after, and where are you going to buy them? If it's older stuff, and/or for an uncommon platform, I can understand having some trouble getting them, but recent stuff for a current platform should be really easy to get, and get cheap....

vmlinuz, i'm looking for games for my kids. we have the old xbox, but i'm looking for newly released games for it (nhl 2007). we also have a gamecube (yeah we're probably due for an upgrade!), which i'm finding is more and more difficult to get games for in HK. i noticed play-asia has free shipping in HK. is $313 alot for an xbox 360 game? do 360 games work on the older systems? do the older games work on 360?

some xbox games will work on the xbox360. there should be a list at www.xbox.com for which ones. When you put an xbox game in your 360, it will download an update so you can play the game. hence, you will need an internet connection.
