| Would someone be able to give me some advice on working freelance or starting a company here in Hong Kong while I am on a work permit with another company? At the moment I am on a work permit but would like to find alternatives as a backup plan in case this job doesn't work out. Is there anything I should be aware of if I start to work freelance, or if I wish to start a company? Which is a better way to do it? And what are the regulations involved? Thanks so much for your help. Cheers |

| But when your work permit expires you will not have a right to stay here. Not sure how this situation is improved by being a director of a limited company. |
