turkey day dinner

Any places to buy a good cooked turkey and all the sides?

or maybe even a pre-carved turkey (white meat only) with gravy and all the sides?

also...id prefer it to be deliverable or at least pickup on turkey day

I just ordered ours at CitySuper, 5kg turkey with roasted sweet potatoes, carrots, broccoli, gravy and cranberry sauce for HK$580, order at least 2 days before, unfortunately they do not deliver, but it is a better deal than Great at Pacific Place, where the turkey alone is HK$25 per 100g.

Have a Happy Turkey Day

Ballerina,

Before we had an oven, we would order our turkey from Eating Plus (now at the Peak). They were a bit stingy on the stuffing and side dishes, so would always make my own. Just in case you're inviting a few friends over.

Rani, since I was afraid of that, that is exactly what I will do, since there are a few of us I thought of making more stuffing and garlic mashed potatoes and of course pumpkin pie, I found ready made crust, so all I have to do is mix the pumpkin filling with philadelphia, spices and some coolwip and refridgerate, no need fo baking. I actually love cooking, but my oven is way too small and my kitchen uninspiring!

Matt,
I am going to pick it up an hour before I start dinner, they said that they are going to keep it warm and it is going to be all wrapped up so it should stay warm enough until dinner. We are actually having dinner on friday, but you can order for turkey day too.

Slightly off topic here, but are the stores selling these turkey's for "thanksgiving"? or is this just the normal arrangements at the store? Just wondering if Hong Kong is celebrating US thanksgiving or the other countries thanksgiving. I don't go to citysuper or GREAT so that is why I am asking here

Hello ballerina,

Thanks for the hint to buy turkey at citysuper! Actually I called them 1 week before and that guy said they don't have such offerings, and after I read your post and called them again for confirmation, it was clear that guy gave wrong information.

The turkey sets are not the same in all citysuper stores though. In Shatin branch for example they only have a 660$ set with a stuffed turkey. I wanted a turkey that is not stuffed, so I ordered a 580$ set in Tsim Sha Tsui branch.
