You would be safe to buy from IKEA. They have branches in Causeway Bay opposite Windsor House, Shatin and Telford Gardens in Kowloon Bay.

Got our goodies from Ikea, Priceline, DSC and GOD... nice stuff and reasonably priced.

Got a nice bed and mattress from a local store that was much cheaper than Priceline. Just long enough for my bf's feet not to hang off the edges! They delivered in a week!!

Heading to Macau for some cool custom made stuff later on...

Horizon Plaza in Ap Lei Sho has a great number of shops that sell good quality furniture.
But if you want a bargain, go to Zhuhai...

anyway, i think its also a subjective issue.
to some ikea is good quality, to others its crappy. 8-)

so its better u work based on your budget and tell the rest, maybe some would be able to tell u where 'relative' good quality furniture can be found for your budget.

Horizon Plaza in Ap Lei Chau

I just moved here and decorated my whole apartment in one day going through the stores in Horizon.

Granted, it wasn't cheap, but I am very pleased with the quality.

If you want it to look like you moved into a catalogue - IKEA will do.

Horizon Plaza is good true. If money is not an issue you can also try OVO in Wan Chai/Admiralty.

Horizon Plaza

Horizon Plaza in Ap Lei Chu has the nicest that I've found. Lots of shops but they close at 7:00 p.m., so go there early on a weekend day and plan to spend some time there as there are many floors to explore. I really like Tequila Kola on 2/F. Very unique stuff and very cool.

**Buyer Tip--ask to buy the floor model. They are usually in great shape, are half the price, and can be delivered immediately.

Depends on your budget. Do you mean really really nice?

Try Banyan tree - Could set back your bank balance a wee bit though..
