Dog Friendly Apartments - Help Needed...

Hi all, I need some urgent advices. I'm currently in HK looking for apts and only have till Sun. Found one at Mid Levels Central but was told building does not allow dogs. I have 2 small dogs and need advice on if it's safe to stay in such building if the landlord is ok with dogs and say that they are not strict. Or alternatively, anyone can help advise which are the buildings that allow dogs in Mid Levels Central or East? Thanks zillions in advance...

Thanks Sunniefaith. Saw this list of apts in one of the thread after my posting.

Where do you work if you don't mind me asking? I live in Park Island and it's super dog friendly here. A vet even comes once or twice a week

My new office is in Wan Chai. It's actually in between Wan Chai & Causeway Bay MTR. Hoping to firm up accomodation so that the move here can take place in mid Dec.

Went to check out some apartments in Grand Promenade this afternoon. The development is fantastic... facilities are amazing and view is great! And it's very do-friendly too! There is a nice area to walk the dogs within the development. There is even a small enclosed area to let the dogs loose.

How is your area? Don't really know where though. Saw some postings talking about anti-dogs campaign around there but hope it's over now.

Would love to meet up with dog lovers when I'm here... and let the dogs mingle. That would be nice.

Grand Promenade is dog friendly and it really is a nice area for walks. They not as happy about dogs as they were, because there used to be a big dog gathering on the garden level but all the dogs were too messy. The dog gathering is out in street now, so no great hardship.

Park Island is very dog friendly. I've got neighbours that have 2 or more dogs...But do check with real estate agents first. Going to work might be an issue for you. You have to catch a ferry to IFC and then catch the mtr ot the taxi. Not sure if this is going to work out for you. And yes, there are lots and lots of dog lovers here! I'm bringing my fluff ball after Chinese New Year

Oh yes, I miss her a lot...in the meantime, she's running amok at mum's place and mum is spoiling her rotten! Thinking of getting her a friend when she gets here.
