Hi,
I checked out
http://www.immd.gov.hk/pdforms/id939a.pdf
on page 8 Residence as Dependant, states that an application for entry to take up residence as a dependant may be favourably considered if (c) the sponsor is able to support the dependant's living at a standard well above the subsistence level and provide him/her with suitable acommodation in hk.
I am a Permanent resident in hk. my husband is not a PR but wants to find a job in hk. We both graduated in united states, and will look for jobs in hk this summer. Now I understand that he doesn't need a visa but in order to work in hk, he still need to apply residence as a dependant?
we will be looking for jobs at the same time, how can I show the immigration that I can support his living "at a standard well above the subsistence level"?
Thanks a lot.
Rachel
