My husband's work visa as well as our dependent visas were approved yesterday! The official date of application was only Nov. 3 and we got the visa approval Nov 14. It can be speedy when accompanied by a letter written by an attorney!

I am in HK right now. I love it. I love the Island and all it's charm. Kowloon and the chaos... I put a bid on an apt already. I cannot wait until my move next month!

Why did you need a letter from an attorney?

Did you have to write anything in particular in the letter?

It looks like my children are going to attend Hong Kong Academy. The facilities do not measure up to any of the othet schools(although they are slated to get a building from the HK gov't within the next couple of years) but the curriculum is great and it is a warm and caring place. The classes are also very small.

We heard that an attorney's letter with a work visa application can expedite the process and is more likely to ensure a positive outcome.
