My O2 XDA Exec

On Saturday night, I left my phone on the ferry from Yung Shue Wan (Lamma) to Central. In the minute or so between leaving it on the seat and realizing what I'd done, someone picked it up. I tried calling it, but I believe the person didn't know how to answer it, since it's a fairly complicated device. It has a 2 GB MMC card in it.

I use this phone for work. A lot of my pupils are going to miss it. If you know where it is, please let me know. I'm willing to pay $1,000 for its safe return. This is what it looks like:

Thanks in advance.

Yeah the finder probably wants to get rid of it because if it's anything like the O2 Atom then it's worth a bucket of manure.

Me still happy and grinning over my MotoMing...Showed it to my sis over the weekend in Spore...Boy was she jealous and it's cheaper to get in in HK than in Spore too!

Thank you for the positive vibes sunnie

heh, I use it for teaching. I can type Word documents and e-mails quite quickly on it. It could definitely be better, but I'm used to it and it's truly a useful device. I'd like to get a Palm, but the keyboard on the O2 XDA Exec is the best out there right now. What can you do? The keyboard on it makes it wayyy more useful than the Atom. It's a big device, though, which means I have to carry it around in my hand. That combined with alcohol made me forget it on the seat next to the one I was sitting in for all of a minute.

Sunnie: There was talk of cracks developing on the Ming. Have you experienced this? Happened to my friend's, and he got rid of it right away. I believe the cracks develop in the cover.

So...someone called me this afternoon...and told me in Hindi that they'd be getting it from someone later that night. They said they'd call me back after work so I could get it. Let's see what happens...if I don't come back, you guys know what to do

Glad to hear you like the Exec and that it's been trouble-free. Hope you get it back in one piece - are you going to quiz the finder?

Cracks as in the system itself, phone's inside, technology bad or physical cracks on the plastic cover?

I use my phone as an alarm as well, and in my sleepy daze, i was trying so hard to poke through the clear cover to press snooze...only after a couple of secs that i realised that i forgot to open the cover!

I might ask him a few questions, but I'll be polite as always.

Sunnie: My buddy's phone developed cracks in the plastic cover relatively quickly. He was pretty upset. I was calling him Ming-jai for months. I love the business card capture feature on the Ming though.

Disco: BTW, it's been far from trouble free. Like all Windows devices, crashes occur. heh.
