My husband's company usually puts up employees in the Four Seasons since the company office is there. Unfortunately, all of the serviced apts at the Four Seaons are booked for the dates we need - which is for one month starting on 11/27. What is the next best option? Apparently the relo company is asking us for this info...I thought they were the experts.

Oh, yeah, there is no price limit so let me know what's best.

Does anyone know about the serviced apartments at Pacific Place? How close is it to the IFC?

Not too far at all... it takes me approx 15 min (walking) or 3 min taxi.

Convention Center Apartments are also ok, although it would take about 10-15 minutes by cab and not walkable.

Pacific Place is also fully booked. KIA - Are the Convention Center Apartments a specific place or a general area? Sorry, my basic knowledge of Hong Kong is limited. I couldn't find any apartments listed as Convention Center in my search.

We might just stay in a hotel for the first month while we look for an apartment. At this point the hubby is about 2 weeks away from moving there so we need to book something soon since we will be in hotel through Christmas.

I fear you may have a problem - the whole telecoms world will be in HK for the first 10 days of December... when this event used to happen in Geneva you couldn't get a hotel room within 150km unless you booked it many months in advance. If money is no object have you considered getting a place in Macau and taking the helicopter to commute?

There's no way you can walk from Pacific Place to IFC in 15mins . However, you can take the MTR for 1 station to central and walk another 5min.
