Hiya thanks, i've looked into it but truth is one of my dogs (who i only got recently) was pretty badly abused for 10 years of his life and so i can't leave him to socialiize with a group of unknown dogs. (it's taken 2 months to socialize him with my current one!)

Jen24 - here's my recommendation www.wishyouwereherehk.com.
Have used them for my cats for 2 years. Super-nice English couple. They are also certified dog trainers, own dogs, volunteer at HKDR and have years of experience w/ dogs. Highly recommended.

Hey Nina, cheers. i actually got in contact with wishyouwerehere awhile back but they said they tended to house-sit mainly cats...

Don't know if it'd be fair to have a person come round only twice a day for an hour to walk them for 10 days...?

As a last resort am considering dogotel, has anyone used them? are they any good?

Hmmm, tough one. I know the pet-sitters do some twice-daily visits, but it depends on timing/how many bookings they have etc. Haven't heard anything about dogotels so can't recommend anything on that one.

There's one more place you can try, but it's a kennel just like dogdayz. Haven't tried them, but heard good things.

You could always call & talk to both Dogdayz & Fenderline to see if they are able to keep your dogs separate from the other ones. They might be able to do something special to accomodate your little family.

Unhappy Looking for a dog sitter

I got a puppy and i need to work in the airport so i cannot come back to check him in the afternoon. I just work office hours (8am-7pm) I just need someone to come for 30 mins to check the dog and see whether he is ok, clear the poos (if any, will train him to do that later when he grows up) .Only monday to Friday. I am not rich but i love dogs, I live in Causeway Bay and i need to find someone who loves dogs too. Fee could be discussed.

Please kindly call me at 9101 7550 or email toto1688@hotmail.com

thanks a lot.

pet sitter

I've been going through some problems too with finding a pet sitter. I recently got a puppy who is now 3 months old. I contacted all the kennels and boardings but they can not accept him because he didnt get his full vaccinations yet. I am not quite sure where else to go and I'm leaving in 2 weeks for 5 weeks vacation back home. I'd hate to leave him here, but he's too young to be brought on a plane either. I feel so stuck... anyone with suggestions? He is super cute and playful... mostly sleep most of the time since he's still a puppy... but I need someone who can check up on him and just clean up after his business... plus, my bidget is limited, HELP!!
