In Yung Shue Wan the locals all bypass the tourist traps of Man Fung and Sampan and head for Lamcombe.
If you go south go to the Tai Yuen Sharksfin and avoid the Rainbow restaurants.

Bear in mind that the ferries take over an hour to get to Lamma and once you are there you have to step over drug addicts and will get attacked by wild dogs at least once.
