I've been to all the CVCFs the past 2 years. I agree with KIA, it's nothing great. Some great concepts and the possibilities. You can see what other people have done, but the main thing is just to do it yourself.

I have a great concept with great possibilies, but without partners and seed capital ... I'm screwed!

I went to the Finding Your Angels seminar this weekend and it was actually pretty good - a lot more depth and quality than most Cyberport events. The opportunities to network and mingle with members of HK's VC/Private Equity/Angel community were top-notch and it was great to meet familiar faces as well as new ones and share war stories...

Hope this event in December lives up to its potential...
