How about a new forum for HK expat families on this site? We have topics for working, banking, entertainment, sports and shopping. I know that people often have a lot of questions concerning education/schools, family-friendly complexes, domestic helpers as well as other issues that expat families face. Geobaby is geared to the preganant and new mommy set and does not deal with these pragmatic issues. This forum could answer all questions from birth through secondary school. We could ask about violin lessons, soccer camps, even meet and greet playgroups...

This is my favorite HK expat site, but I do find myself doing a fair amount of Googling to get answers to my many child/school related questions here. I am actively searching for an apartment and schools and it would be nice to post in a place where I was not completely ashamed of my neuroses! We are coming in 2 weeks, so I am posting constantly. What does everyone think of this idea?

A lot of our 'family' related questions end up on GeoBaby.Com, but we will definitely have a new series of forums on here to deal with education and older kids.

And how about one on hair and beauty? Don't meant so sound vain, but I think it's a gap, when you consider how many different categories we have for something like tech!

Not too sure about something as finite as that .. but i think we can find a higher level category to slot that into.
