| | | Thanks.
Yes, I think I will cook. In the serviced apartments they also cook???
Anyway, do you know the name of that serviced apartment? How much is it? I was hoping to spend 10,000 max, but could spend more, if it's worth it.

| | Of course you can cook as they have everything provided, just that the cooking facilities is certainly no good for Asian cuisine due to open kitchen. The name is Horizon Suite Hotel, I saw an ad they posted on local newspaper last mth and the rent is starting from HK$6,800/mth, this type has a very long waiting list (about one yr. when I checked last year.)

Don't go for the seaview ones as some people said the seaview Feung Shui is not so good in Ma On Shan, if you believe.
By the way, you can save the agency fees and more flexible on lease terms. More they have 24 hrs. maintainent & laundry services. To declair myself, I don't work for them just that I stayed there before.

| | | Thanks, I just called, but for a 2 bedroom it's HK$15,000. I think I can find cheaper (I don't need the maid and stuff). Thanks anyway. If you have any other lead, please do let me know. | |

| | | Then go for Villa Oceania kind of apartments in Ma On Shan area, I guess the rent should be within your range. Check the two real estate websites I gave you above for details. | |

| | | At Horizon Suites you can eliminate services you don't want and pay less. We are there now. The area is really nice.
We looked at apartments in MOS, Villa Athena and Symphony Bay. The landlords have not been easy to deal with so we have givem up on MOS. Both are very nice complexes, though.
Everything in MOS is convenient to Sunshine Plaza/MOS Plaza which is where the shopping is done.

| | | Thank you very much! This is great! Also for the links. I am browsing now, and I called the Midland agent.
I am surprised how little English some agents speak. Don't they have to deal with foreigners sometimes?
I am wondering what the mortgage is. The mortgage calculation is done with a 5.5 interest rate. That's HUGE! Is that the actual mortgage currently in Hong Kong????

Actually, the real mortgage rate is a little flexiable if you have lots of $, ie. big client. | | Tools | Search | | | | | Rate This Thread | | | All times are GMT +8. The time now is 04:22 PM.
