jacuzzi in hk?

any thoughts on putting a jacuzzi on a large terrace in the middle of midlevels? im assuming it isnt very common...

i have the room for it, but am currently having some issues figuring out how i'd get it up to my 5th floor terrace. there is a parking deck below, but i'd need to find a way to lift the 350kg unit up and onto the deck.

ideas welcome.

Here we come, idea of the century:

Is there a way to pull it up with a cable from the roof of the building?

Otherwise you will have to rent one of these heavy machines...

A stupid question now:

Does your balcony support 350 kgs, plus the water and all the naked people who will be in the yakuzi? We are talking of about 800 kgs or so?

If you have a party with lots of nice ladies in the yakuzi, don't forget to invite you. After all, it's ME who gave you all these nice ideas!

yes, I know, this is just me, wasting my time...

Lifting shouldn't be a problem. And if it is a parking deck, is it for cars? Cars that could carry the unit there?
But check the weight issue. Better check it out with the owner or some civil engineers. Weight per sqft would be the term.

Yes, but what from the car to the balcony?

thanks guys. i should have been a bit more clear. the terrace is effectively the roof of the parking deck, and the building goes up from my floor, so even though i'm on the 5th floor it feels like a ground floor apartment.

i could drive the unit directly under where I would want to have it located. ideally i could pass it out horizontally from the car park then lift it 1 floor, then swing it over on the terrace. i just don't think there are any small machines that could tolerate so much weight.

i was hoping that the machine come come in pieces, in which case i'd only have to lift the plastic shell. but the company i'm talking to says it is hard to dissassemble and reassemble.

the mgt of the building has given the ok.
