| | | All I was trying to illustrate was that Gore opened himself up to too many attacks doing it the way he did. He would do a better job getting the message out without his usual bs. | |

| | | I've gotten a bit cynical and skeptical about celebs driving hybrids ever since i saw leonardo dicaprio drive up to the red carpet in a prius at the oscars (his other car is a hummer). | |

Smear the left. It's quite popular in America. Particularly when the cause is just.

Environmental concerns, particularly in Hong Kong are problems that should be addressed.

i just saw Inconvenient Truth and thought it was amazing. it should be required viewing for every person in HK and around the world. we're complaining about, and frankly getting used to, living in this chemical soup every day. when are we going to get off our arses and actually do something about it? i know its human nature not to act unless under immediate threat, but pretty soon we could be at the point of no return.
sure you could pick apart bits of the movie, but the science behind it is undisputed. the polar ice cap and glaciers worldwide ARE melting. CO2 production is through the roof. that's the truth, inconvenient as it may be. | Actually the science is very disputed.

| | | Ah Punk, typical liberal that you are, only saw part of what I said. I support Gore and his message whole-heartedly. I was dismayed at the way he presented it, because I feel he could have done a much better job presenting the issues and not wrapping it up in controversial bs.
on another note, well done to my fellow trash picker uppers last weekend! | | Tools | Search | | | | | Rate This Thread | | | All times are GMT +8. The time now is 02:28 PM.
