| tutoring laws I am in HK on a dependent visa and wd like to tutor students in English. (I have adequate credentials.) Does anyone know what labo(u)r laws are relevant? |

| If your dependent visa is dependent on an Employment Visa and it was one of the ones issued during the period where such Dependent Visa holders were not allowed to work, and has not be renewed since the rules changed, then you need to go to immigration to get the endorsement that you may not work removed. Otherwise you are pretty much free to do as you please. If you earn enough (over about HK$100,000 per year) then you will need to consider tax.
