I am thinking about doing a TSOL (TEFL) course and have been told I must enrol in one that is University Accredited. I have found one that looks good called i-i and am wondering if anyone has had experience with this orgnaization. I also wanted to know if you need to have a degree too as I only have a diploma of business. Many Thanks

All I have is my Diploma from i-i online tefl. I took the 60 hour course to make myself more aware of grammar. It's a good course. Jimbo also went through i-i Last edited by HKChigger; 18-10-2006 at 02:13 AM. Reason: I like Editing

As far as I know, if you want to work for EMB, they're not too keen on the online TEFL courses. They rather you attend the classes and not sit in front of the computer. Having said that, it might work out for you if you're not looking to be hired by EMB

You can work with them if you don't have a degree. The catch is that your salary can't go beyond a certain point. Have a look at this link http://www.emb.gov.hk Click on the NETS Scheme
