Wink "Dog One Life"

Has anyone heard of a store in Causeway Bay by the name of
Dog One Life ?
I recently saw a story about this place on Channel News Asia on the show "Every Dog Has Its Day".
I am wondering if the dogs they sell there are any good.
Has anyone bought dogs there ? Do they provide birth certificates ?
I want to find a place to get a dog that is not from a animal factory in China.
Thanks !

I've been to that store since it's near my place. Honestly it doesn't seem too much different from most of the other horrible pet stores I've seen in HK....small cages and too many animals....I would recommend SPCA for a new dog. They have a bunch of needy and beautiful animals.

i don't think that place sells dogs, it's just fancy pet goods, a grooming parlour and a coffee shop.

Hong Kong Dog Rescue also has some beautiful dogs. Definetely adopt if you can. I've had friends who (against my recommendation) purchased puppies from pet shops in CWB and Ho Man Tin. Both puppies died within a week.

I don't think they sell dogs either, at least not on the premises. I've been there many times and have only seen pet supplies and grooming facilities. The best-kept pet shop I have seen in HK is the upstairs one at Aberdeen plaza. Still, I wouldn't buy an animal from any place in HK unless it is recommended by a vet or someone very knowledgeable. It's always best to adopt from a charity.

Oooops...my mistake. I think you're right that they don't sell dogs there. I think I'm confusing with one of the next-door shops (unfortunately the whole street round that area is full of stores with animals in cages). In any case I agree with everyone else. Don't buy pets from the small stores in HK. Support the charities, SPCA or dog rescue.
