has anybody else had a problem getting a hk licence from an australian drivers licence? because there's not issue date on my NSW licence they won't give me a hk one! don't know what to do, feel pretty bummed about having to take the hk drivers test and stuff...

That of any use to you? Not that I've seen an NSW license, but I'd think there should be some form of documentation that could satisfy the local transport department here.

Do NSW licenses usually have an issue date on? If so, might be less hassle just getting it re-issued.

They certainly have an expiry date- surely that is more important than the issue date.
