Hey London ladies... another one fresh off the boat....

Hey girls,

Well I arrive on the 20th Aug, pretty excited about the impending move! My partner has been out there for a while now so he's got his established friends and whilst it would be easy for me to click in I'm really keen to head off and make my own friends esp. some other ex-londoners!

I'll pretty much be free as a bird when I arrive - I know HK relativley well (for a foreigner!), am looking at doing some short courses - maybe we should arrange a coffee morning one day... or dare i say a book and bottle club?

Look forward to hearing from you all!
Cheers,
Keri

When you say "partner", he is your husband and you have a Dependant Visa, yes? If not, you're not going to be able to study (or even reside) here legally.

Hey,

Yes visa's all sorted so that I will be able to do my short courses as and when I want too... I've had a few friends over there who've done the 180day thing and it really didnt appeal to me! I've been warned about HK and its paperwork... but thanks anyway
