I quite enjoy hong kong and korean films, but strangely not many of the expats or locals I've met seem to think much of asians films.

Which is a pity since theres alot of great films being shown in the cinemas in hong kong. If theres some interest I might organise a movie night. Johnnie To's new film Exiled is coming out this week, and that should be quite good.

there must be a lot of asian film movie buffs! it's the best! i'm a big fan and i'm so happy to finally live in HK, easier for me to access good movie finds. i wouldn't mind attending a movie night if you organized one i used to attend a lot of underground viewings back home in manila.

i liked the korean film, il mare. then they later had an english version of the film.

I love Korean film as well so if there any movie event about it, would like to join. I seen "il mare", too and it was a lovely movie.

I love Korean films as well, I have seen a number of them and i can say that they are well-crafted. I have seen a few HK movies (mostly of Wong Kar Wai) and I find them so brilliant. I am just new here in Hong Kong and would like to see HK movies straight from the theatre. maybe we can schedule a meet-up and watch one?

I don't see any Korean films out right now, even in Broadway Cinematheque.
