| | | Football Interest Hi,
I've been in HK a month now and keen to start playing football (soccer). Just looking to play for fun (friendly rather than serious), either 5/6/7 or 11 a-side and would be keen to play some evenings and weekends.
If anyone has any interest / need for players / advice on local leagues, then that would be appreciated. Currently living in Causeway Bay.
Cheers | |

| | | Footy We normally play weekends and public holidays. Saturdays normally in the evening and Sunday/Public Holidays anytime (depending on when we can get a pitch). It is for fun and fitness as most of us are over 35 - but it feels good to beat the whipper snappers......What positions are you looking to play? Our next game is Kowloon Tsai Park on Sat 2nd Dec and if you want to play you will need to sign on (not the dole). I will need a passport sized photo, name and siging on fee. I work in Central so can meet up if you want to discuss more. Actually the guy who owns this website knows me very well...... | |

| | | Footy Contd. Oh I forgot. A couple of us use to play in the UK on Sat and Sun Leagues (As you know Sat is Semi-Pro and Sunday is basically pub sides)....so we know how to handle ourselves. We will probably hang up our boots in a few years. Talking about boots - NO METAL STUDS ALLOWED (its the rules of the league) and you must wear shin pads. | |

| | | football Hello,
Is the age thing a major factor? - i.e. im 23 and teaching english here, desperate to play football again! I played saturday league football for 6years before I packed up and moved to HK...am a central midfielder at heart but comfortable on either wing and can play full back if really necessary!
If the 'over 30's' ethos is one you want to keep then no probs and i wont take any offence!
