Where to study mandarin?

I have Jan and Feb entirely off and would like to head off to China and try study some mandarin. Ideally I'd like to do this in a university rather than a language school so I can get my credit transfered...does anyone have any idea where its flexible enough to go for just Jan and Feb...?

Regards,

Raz

It's winter break during Jan to Feb in Mainland China...I think it might be impossible to take a course at university...

In Beijing

Try Beijing Language and Culture University "BeiYu" they write the Hanyu Kaoshi (Chinese langue proficiency exam) and they have classes running at various times for short term and long term study.

Peking University and Tsinghua and People's University all offer classes but they will be on holiday at the time you wnat to study. All three of these universities offer Chinese language classes to foreigners in a seperate division of their school campus.

In the meantime check out www.hello-han.com to get started with your Chinese.
