Taxi fare Mid-Levels to the Peak

Hi, random question here... has anyone taken a taxi to the Peak from Central or the Mid-levels? How much is the fare? Thanks!

Think I paid a little less than 70 to Central Pier.

Thanks guys! Hate to be annoying but how long is the ride (let's pretend a normal time of day not during rush hour) from Mid-levels to the Peak?

hey sunniefaith...

instead of wasting your hard earned money on a taxi from the pier, take the walk way to IFC. then just before you get to the entrance doors that will get you to city super, there is an escalator. go down the escalator and under City super. there is a minibus stop there. Take the #1 to the peak. it costs very little and takes around 30 minutes (less coming back)!!!!

it was a fantastic discovery that i made about a month ago!

cerberus is an unknown quantity at this point.
yes the bus system can be daunting but it's well worth the exploration for the gems out there. always take minis over franchise if you have the choice. go redtops!
