New York Deli

Is there anyplace in HK that give me a pastrami fix? I have been out of the US for a while and I am hankering for a deli....

I don't care about pickles or knishes or matzo ball soup (at least not yet)...I just want a pastrami sandwich piled high on rye with a good brown mustard.

Any tips?

Main St. Deli in Langham Hotel, TST makes a mean pastrami, and they got the knishes and latkes and matzo ball soup for when you do miss it. A warning though, it's pretty pricy.

Thanks for the tip!

Dan Ryans has Reubens but not sure abt Pastrami. They don't grill the Reuben they toast it which is dissappointing.

You could also call Al's Diner in central to ask if they have Pastrami and lastly, call Flying Pan they have one in Central and one in Wanchai.

Good Luck !

Where's Archie B's? Would give anything for a good pastrami s/w. Been trying DIY with OZ pastrami they sell in PnS and Great - which just doesn't have the flavour (unlike even the simple and cheap but tasty Druxy's in TO).

Archie Bs is just off the escalator after Hollywood Road and before Staunton. Here is a review of it from Time magazine.
