Going to Beijing & Shanghai for a vacation, plan to buy lots of souvenirs, because of weight restrictions on our return flight we would like to ship some things home. Does anyone know how we can do this?

I've never had problems shipping things to the US via China Post, but there's also DHL, UPS, and Fedex if you're not comfortable with it.
